01Information We Do Not Collect

Smart Calculator does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or transmit personal identifiable information (PII) to our servers. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Financial inputs, calculation results, or history
• Health-related inputs (e.g., BMI, BMR, Calorie inputs)
• Images or photos

02Local Data Storage

To provide a seamless experience, the app stores certain data locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers:

• Calculation History & Favourites: Saved locally on your device for your convenience.
• User Settings: Your preferences for themes, languages, and app configurations.

You can clear your calculation history or favourites directly within the app at any time. Uninstalling the app will also delete all locally stored data.

03OCR and Camera Usage

Smart Calculator includes an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature to scan and calculate text from images.

• Camera Access: We request camera permission solely to capture images for scanning.
• On-Device Processing: OCR is performed entirely locally on your device using Google ML Kit.
• No Uploads: Images, camera data, and the recognised text are never uploaded to our servers or third parties.

04Health and Financial Calculators

Smart Calculator includes various health (e.g., BMI, BMR) and financial (e.g., EMI, SIP, Loan) calculators. The values you input into these calculators are processed entirely on your device. We do not receive, store, or track the specific values, inputs, or results of your calculations.

05Third-Party Services

While we do not collect personal data directly, the app uses certain third-party services that may collect information to provide their services. These services operate under their own privacy policies:

Google Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our app and to improve its functionality. Firebase may collect approximate location, device information, and app activity. We log generic, anonymous events such as:

• App opened, Calculator opened
• Calculation completed, saved, or shared (without the actual calculation values)
• Scan started, completed, or failed (without the image or OCR text)
• Theme or language changed

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the app. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, IP addresses, and ad interaction data. Ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your device settings, Google's systems, and applicable consent requirements in your region.

06Children's Privacy

Smart Calculator is a general audience application. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age of digital consent in your country. Because the app does not require registration or collect personal data directly, we do not have a system to identify the age of our users. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

07Data Security

We employ reasonable commercial security measures to protect the app and your locally stored data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

08Data Retention and Deletion

Because Smart Calculator does not rely on a backend user account system, you have full control over your data:

• You can delete specific calculation history items or clear the entire history from within the app.
• Uninstalling the app will remove all locally stored preferences, favourites, and history.

Data collected by third-party services (like Firebase or AdMob) is retained according to their respective retention policies.

09Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete data. Since we do not maintain accounts or store personal data on our servers, the primary way to exercise your data deletion rights is to uninstall the app and clear your local app data.
